The story of the three small children expelled from the Titirangi Steiner school in June 2009, has had a further recent development in that the Director of the Human Rights Tribunal has again offered the parents of the children and the school mediation. Although the parents of the children accepted the offer from the Human Rights Commission the first time, the school refused. That is why the matter has now been referred to the Director of the Tribunal. The good news is that the school has now agreed to mediate. Due process can take a long time.
