Private Steiner school lies to prospective parents claiming “vindication” of illegal expulsions
It has come to our attention via multiple sources over the last few months that the Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School tells people that since government agencies have looked into the events we flagged up and took no action whatsoever against the school, then they have been vindicated and therefore haven't done anything wrong.
We can, and will prove that the school tells prospective parents this completely untrue version of things. Sadly, they are misrepresenting important facts about the Ministry of Education, Health & Safety and even the Education Review Office, just to get more children into the school.
You may think that these big Government agencies are there to protect children and make sure the schools they attend provide them with a safe and secure learning environment. And they are... at state or state-integrated schools (or at least, they should be).
We have collected a huge amount of information from all these agencies, but for now you may be interested in the little movie we've made to summarise these events. It's been nearly a year since we last posted a video on this site, and we thought you'd been patient long enough and we wanted to thank all the 3,544 unique visitors who came to our site a total of 7,581 times (as of this posting).
"Oops" might teach you a thing or two about just how protected you and your children are in a non-integrated private school.
If you find it hard to believe, you won’t be alone. It is a scandal - but it is true. Do the research for yourself if you don’t believe us - it only took us fourteen months.
Oh, and by the way, the two week period mentioned in the movie, during which the Trustees did nothing is also provable fact. From our research we now understand that such a tactic by a Board is known as a “go slow”. In this case it allowed them to see what we would do and then use it as justification for the illegal and abusive actions of their employees!
